The outing to the Sursock Museum



The outing to the Sursock museum
1- The hall of portraits:
  • Tarbouch (It's the hat that we see on the head of men(.
  • Difference between the paintings.
  • People in the paintings have asked from the painter to draw them.
  • Sculpture (منحوتة).
2-  In this hall there are portraits dated from 1940 to 1950.

Khalil Zghér:
Khalil Zghér didn't draw in 3D, he didn't know how to draw like everybody.

3- The arabic salon:
  • In this salon people made meetings.
  • There were more than 30 000 photos.
  • Every three months they changed photos.
4- In this hall we saw photos of Egypt:
  • In that period they climbed up the pyramides (which is very dangerous today).
  • There were different pairs of photos that were drawn profile and face.
  • The photos dated from 1860.
5-  The office of Nicolas Sursock:
  • He didn't have children, he wasn't married, and he was the owner of this house which is the municipality of Beirut.
  • His death: 1952.
  • This museum was opened 9 years later (1961).
6-  Autumn's salon:
  • We can't always understand the painting.
  • All the floors have a permanent collection, which means that the museum buys the paintings and keeps them (permanent# temporary.(
7-  Some names of artists:
     P.D. Corni, Khalil Zghér, Nicolas Sursock, Manet, Fouad Dirbasse.

The Sursock Museum is talking about the pollution,the recycling...It is the house of Nicolas Sursock but it becomes the Sursock museum.We see a lot of differents pieces of Arts,paintings,and arts like sculptures.......

Sursock Museum

The Sursock Museum, is a modern art center in the center of Beirut. It contains contemporary art like sculptures and paintings. There was a guide who informed us about the different art pieces. I really liked that visit to the Sursock Museum.

Sursok museum

When we went to "Sursok museum" I thought that it was going to be boring, but I found it very interesting. I liked very much the paintings and the statuses inside the museum, especially the one about the technology slaves. It was a very nice trip in general.

One day the  school a culing to Sursock museum for class . The teachers and the students want using 5 big bus . The museum sursock is in Achrafieh beirut we arrived to the museum , it on a big row like a villa . A woman was there who will tell us about the museum she tell us that an aristocrat called nicolas Ibrahim sursock built it as a house for him , then become a museum its architectureis a mixture of a librerie  wik the italinate and ottoman influences with hundred exhibitions had influences for lebanese and internationnal artists . Its collection includes modern , jepanese an islamic arts. The cllection consists of pinting and graphie arts . There is a libray store and resturants . Tt was an amazing day.

Sursock Museum

The Sursock Museum is about the project "Let's talk about the weather". It has beautiful paintings and works of art that are talking about the pollution,the waste,the recycling...It is mainly the house of Nicolas Sursock.

                                             Sursock Museum                                On October 24, 2016, I went to the Sursock Museum with my class. It was really beautiful and interesting. We had seen beautiful works of art and amazing sculptures it was magnificent. The theme was to protect the nature and to take care of it.
